The Vernis Edge Paint is a beautiful matte edge paint that is made in France. The paint has a thicker viscosity so that is goes on uniform and requires less layers. This has quickly become one of the best edge paints we have found, it is very simple to use, dries quickly and creates a beautiful high end finish. This edge paint can also be heated with Regad accessories.
The paint has a natural beautiful matte finish, but with the addition of beeswax or paraffin can be used to show a nice glossy finish.
Instructions:
Slightly rough your edges with 200-400 grit sandpaper (few quick passes in same direction)
Apply edge paint with a small roller, round awl, or similar tool
Let dry for 10 minutes
Sand with 400-600 grit sandpaper to smooth out
Repeat steps 2-4 until desired results (Usually 2-3 layers has great results)
Add Beeswax or Parraffin Wax for glossy finish
Buff edges with Chamoisine Buffing Cloth
**The Regad M3000 or G/6M machine can be used to assist in smoothing the Edge Paint in-between coats and applying smooth wax finish
