EASILY REMOVE SKIMMER BASKET lid/cover and lift the basket for cleaning without bending, kneeling, or getting your hands wet!  The tab at the end FITS MOST standard swimming pool skimmer lids/cover plates.  The hook is universal in design and fits most popular skimmer baskets such as tower or pistol grip handles, but will easily work with any basket with a handle for easy lifting and removal of the basket (see pictures).  EASY GRIP HANDLE with eye loop for hanging/storage of tool when not in use.  If you have health issues such as a bad back, knee problems, or other issues associated with imbalance this is a life saver!
To use:  Insert the tab on the end into the finger hole of the cover plate/lid in the swimming pool deck (fig 3).  Remove cover plate/lid (fig 4).  Place the hook around the skimmer basket tower, grip or handle (fig 5).  Lift skimmer basket from housing for cleaning (fig 6).  After cleaning use the hook to replace the skimmer basket (fig 7).  Repeat step 1 to replace cover plate/lid and you're done!
